01Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of tutoring services by McKerrow History Ltd. By booking tutoring services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
02Services
McKerrow History Ltd provides history tuition and related educational support for GCSE, A Level and other history qualifications. Tuition may be delivered online, in person, individually or in small groups where agreed.
03Client relationship
For students under 18, the parent or guardian booking tuition is the client and accepts responsibility for payment, communication and acceptance of these Terms.
04Fees and payment
Fees will be communicated before tuition begins. Invoices are normally payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
05Cancellations and missed lessons
Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice will not be charged. Lessons cancelled with less notice may be charged in full. Missed lessons may be charged at the full lesson rate.
06Punctuality
Lessons will start and finish at the agreed times. Late arrival does not normally extend the lesson.
07Educational materials
Materials supplied remain the intellectual property of McKerrow History Ltd and are for the personal use of the student only.
08Academic outcomes
Reasonable skill and care will be used in delivering tuition. Examination grades, university admissions and academic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
09Student responsibilities
Students are expected to attend punctually, engage respectfully and complete agreed work where appropriate.
10Online tuition
Students are responsible for having suitable technology and internet access for online lessons.
11Safeguarding
McKerrow History Ltd is committed to maintaining appropriate professional standards when working with children and young people.
12Privacy and data protection
Personal information is handled in accordance with the company Privacy Policy.
13Limitation of liability
McKerrow History Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses or for academic decisions made by third parties.
14Termination
Either party may terminate tutoring arrangements at any time. Outstanding fees remain payable.

16Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
